The four stages, in self-employed terms

One stage a week: Evaluate, Design, Groundwork, Execute.

  1. STEP 01

    Evaluate

An honest look at where you are now.

Week 1: The full picture, including income that goes up and down.

  2. STEP 02

    Design

What an ideal outcome looks like for your situation.

Week 2: What matters most, and in what order.

  3. STEP 03

    Groundwork

    The steps we agree together.

Week 3: A tax pot and getting ready for Making Tax Digital, keeping business and personal money apart, and pensions when there's no employer (education only).

  4. STEP 04

    Execute

You take the action, with support along the way.

Week 4: The plan, put to work, with habits and accountability that last.

Good questions to ask

Is this financial advice?

No. Ndgo Edge provides financial coaching and education. It does not provide regulated financial advice. I won't recommend specific investments, pensions, funds, products or providers, and I won't arrange, buy or transfer anything on your behalf.

Who is the programme for?

It's built for the self-employed and small business owners: people whose income goes up and down, whose tax bill arrives in lumps, and who don't have an employer sorting their pension. If you're employed, each stage has a short note for you too.

How is it delivered?

Online, so you can join from anywhere in the UK. There's one workshop a week on Tuesday evenings from 7pm, lasting 45 to 60 minutes, then a private 30-minute 1:1 later that week.

Will I have to share my finances with the group?

No. The group workshops are educational only. Nobody shares personal or financial details in the group. Your own numbers are only ever looked at in your private 1:1.

Do I have to have my camera on?

No. In the group we use first names, and cameras are on if you're comfortable. If you'd rather stay anonymous or keep your camera off, just say.

How much does it cost?

The EDGE programme is £750, paid online when you book. If you've bought the EDGE Evaluate & Cash-Flow Plan in the last 60 days, your £250 counts towards it, so you pay £500.

Can I start with something smaller?

Yes. The EDGE Evaluate & Cash-Flow Plan is £250 for two sessions. If you join the full programme within 60 days, your £250 counts towards it, so you pay £500.

When are the next dates?

The February cohort meets on Tuesdays 2, 9, 16 and 23 February 2027, from 7pm. Enrolment is open now and closes on Friday 29 January. Further cohorts start in April, June, September and November 2027.

What happens after the four weeks?

You'll have follow-ups at 30, 60, 90 and 180 days, plus 12 months' free EDGE Members so the support carries on between them.

What if I need regulated advice?

If your plan needs a specific recommendation, such as an investment choice or a pension transfer, I'll refer you to an independent financial adviser authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. I don't take introducer fees.

What if I'm struggling with debt?

I don't give debt advice or set up debt solutions. I'll point you to free specialist help such as Money Advice Scotland, StepChange or Citizens Advice Scotland.

What happens on a Clarity Call?

It's a free 15-minute call on Google Meet. We talk through where you are now, what you'd like to be different, and whether the programme is the right fit. If it isn't, I'll tell you, and point you somewhere more useful if I can.
