Privacy policy

How Ndgo Edge collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Placeholder Draft wording for Barry to review and approve (ideally with legal input) before launch.

Who we are

Ndgo Edge is the trading name of Whitelaw Honeyman Holdings Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC498200), with its registered office at 25 Cornton Crescent, Bridge of Allan, FK9 4DD. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Whitelaw Honeyman Holdings Ltd is the controller of the personal information described in this policy, and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration ZC274990). You can contact us at support@ndgoedge.com.

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us through this website, by email or by phone. Depending on how you get in touch, that can include:

  • your name, email address and phone number
  • your answers to the Clarity Call questions and any message you send us
  • whether you'd like to receive our email updates

We also collect basic technical information, such as pages visited and browser type, to keep the website secure and working well.

How we use it

  • to reply to your enquiry and arrange a Clarity Call (because you've asked us to)
  • to send you In Good Order or our money notes newsletter (with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time)
  • to deliver coaching if you become a client (to perform our agreement with you)
  • to run, secure and improve this website (our legitimate interests)

We never sell your information, and as a coaching business we have no products to sell you.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the business. They process your information on our behalf and only as we instruct:

  • Wix, for this website, bookings, online payments, forms and email
  • HubSpot, our customer relationship management system, to keep track of enquiries and clients
  • Google Workspace, for email and documents, and Google Meet for Clarity Calls, workshops and 1:1 sessions

Recording of group workshops

Group workshops are recorded on Google Meet. Participants can watch them through a private link for 90 days after the programme ends. A separate copy is kept securely, with access limited to Barry, for six years after the programme ends as a record of the sessions, and is then deleted. Recording is announced at the start of each workshop, and nobody needs their camera on.

One-to-one calls aren't recorded: no audio or video is kept. I may use Google Meet's text transcript to write up a call, and I delete it once the written summary is done. For EDGE Private clients, the written summaries they've confirmed are kept securely for six years after we finish working together, as a record of what we agreed, and are then deleted.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as needed to deliver coaching and meet our legal obligations. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email support@ndgoedge.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
